Long Island City High School (Queens) football senior middle linebacker Justin Rodriguez has received an official roster spot offer from Nassau Community College football program, today he wrote on X.
Rodriguez, whom head coach Joseph Giardina said he is “one of the hardest hitters in all of NYC, Giardina wrote on X,” led the Bulldogs in tackles with 62, made 11 stops for a loss and garnered four defensive player of the game honors, per his X account.
Rodriguez helped Long Island City put up a 5-3 mark and make the PSAL “A” Conference playoffs in 2023.
Nassau posted a 5-5 overall record this past season. The Lions play in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III conference.
