The Staten Island FerryHawks of the independent Atlantic League have added their second pitcher off the day, as Aaron Leasher has signed with the squad, the team wrote on X.
Leasher, 27, spilt last season with the San Diego Padres’ San Antonio Mission (AA) and El Paso Chihuahuas (AAA), posting a 3-3 record with 5.37 ERA in 63.2 innings of work in 29 games.
Leasher has recorded a 32-32 mark with a 3.99 ERA 492.1 frames in 138 contests across six minor league seasons.
The Padres selected Leasher in the 6th round of the 2017 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Morehead State University before embarking on a professional baseball career.
