Former Blair Academy (N.J.) player Jaylin Hartman has transferred from George Washington to Division I University at Buffalo Women’s basketball program, today the Bisons announced.
Head coach Becky Burke said Hartman, a Mendham, N.J., native, brings a multi-dimensional game at the forward position, and cannot wait to see her thrive on the court and in the classroom at Buffalo.
“Jaylin is extremely versatile and skilled in every aspect of the game,” Burke said on UBBulls.com. “She brings us the size, scoring and rebounding that we are in need of at her position. I think Jaylin’s skill set really allows us to expand our system both offensively and defensively. Jaylin was a top 50 recruit out of high school, and I believe Buffalo is the perfect place for her to showcase her talents. I’m excited to see her develop on and off the court here at UB!”
Hartman, a 6-foot-2 forward, played in seven games as a freshman at George Washington.
Before college, she earned two Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) First Team selections at Blair Academy. She also helped the Buccaneers to three MAPL championships and a NJ Prep A State Championship as a senior.
The Bulls posted a 19-14 overall record and went 10-8 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) action in 2023-24 campaign.
