Class of 2025 Bryce Kania of the Hun School of Princeton and a Chatham, N.J., native has picked up his latest offer from Division I Stony Brook University football program, today he wrote on X.
In addition to the Stony Brook offer, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver/safety holds offers from Boston College, James Madison University, Fordham, Harvard, Cornell, New Hampshire, Kent State and interest from other D-I football programs.
Kania, who also runs track for the Raiders and played varsity basketball for Chatham High School as a sophomore, is a bona fide student-athlete. He owns an impressive vertical leap of 32 inches, broad jump of 114 inches and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds, according to app.gomvb.com. In the classroom, he holds a 4.0 GPA, according to his X account.
Kania was an All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) First Team wide receiver this past season after corralling 30 receptions for 630 yards with 13 touchdowns.
The Seawolves went winless in the 2023 campaign. Stony Brook will square off against Marshall on Saturday, August 31st (Time, TBA) on the road.
