Former Albany University Great Danes forward Jonathan Beagle is transferring to Richmond Men’s basketball program, today he announced on X.
The 6-foot-10, 240-pound sophomore averaged 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in 22 games, 19 of which were starts, for the Great Danes this past season.
Beagle, who is from Hudson Falls, N.Y., attended Thomas More, where he was team captain, and earned All-State and All-Foothills honors.
The Spiders posted 23-10 overall record and went 15-3 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
