It was a busy recruiting day for Iona Prep (N.Y.) junior defensive end Gaberiel George, as he has earned three offers from Division I University of Rhode Island, Georgetown and UConn football programs, today he wrote on X.
Additionally, George holds offers from Minnesota and Fordham, and has visited numerous other D-1 college football programs around the country.
Moreover, the 6-foot-5, 260-pound also plays the tight end position, and is a freakishly expectational athlete, with a max bench and squat of 275 pounds and 385 pounds, respectively. George, who owns an 82-inch wingspan, also runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and can dunk a basketball with two hands, per his X feed.
College football recruiting analyst Tom Lemming described George on X as “strong, agile, smart, and shows an innate ability to get to the ball.” Also, you can spot him on the gridiron chasing down ball carries from behind.
You may watch George’s junior season highlight tape below at the link to see just how gifted he is.
