While St. John’s Men’s basketball team has acquired players such as Seton Hall transfer Kadary Richmond, it has now lost former Red Storm forward Glenn Taylor, Jr., as he is transferring to Grand Canyon University, yesterday media outlets reported.
Taylor averaged 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, as well as seven blocks and 25 steals this past season with the Red Storm. He also shot 44.9 percent from the floor and 42.4 percent from long-range.
Taylor, a Las Vegas, Nev., native, graduated from Cheyenne High School. Additionally, he played one prep year at Arizona Compass in Chandler, Ariz., in 2020-21, averaging 14.3 points per game.
The Antelopes put up a 30-5 overall mark and went 17-3 in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) action in the 2023-24 campaign. They went on to capture the WAC with a win over UT Arlington.
