The New York Mets have promoted two-way player Nolan McLean and outfielder Omar De Los Santos from the Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A) to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (AA), today the Cyclones announced on X.
McLean, 22, has whacked five longballs, drove in 13 RBI and scored 10 runs in 67 at-bats. On the mound, New York’s No. 19 prospect on MLB Pipeline had posted a 2-2 mark with 2.57 ERA, 38 strikeouts and 1.07 WHIP in 28 innings of work in seven games with Brooklyn.
Though the speedy outfielder is not hitting much these days, De Los Santos has swiped 25 bases in 27 attempts along with a home run and seven RBI in 97 at bats in 33 games so far this season.
in addition to that, the 24-year-old speedster stole 107 bases out of 135 tries in Brooklyn and St. Lucie (Low-A) combined in the 2022-23 campaigns.
