Class of 2027 Saint Joseph Regional High School (N.J.) guard Alex Mazzella has picked up an offer from Division I Fairfield Men’s basketball program, yesterday New Jersey Beast AAU squad wrote on X.
The Stags’ offer is the first for the Mahwah, New Jersey, native, per VerbalCommits.com.
Mazzella, as a freshman, drained 142 points, grabbed 56 rebounds, made 35 steals and dished out 63 assists in 21 games with the Green Knights this past season.
Fairfield posted a 24-13 overall record and went 14-6 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in the 2023-24 campaign.
