Former Academy of Art (DII) guard/forward and Canadian Jamal Fuller is transferring to Division I LIU Sharks Men’s basketball program, yesterday LIU hoops announced on X.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Toronto native averaged 18.0 points and five rebounds per game along with 25 steals and 43 assists in 29 contests with the Urban Knights in the 2024-23 campaign.
Fuller, who will be going his senior year, spent two seasons with Hill College (Texas) where he appeared in 52 contests, averaging 12.0 points per game with an impressive 55.4 shooting percent mark from the floor.
Before college, Fuller attended Central Technical School (Toronto) where he averaged 21.6 points per game in 15 tilts as a senior.
The Sharks posted a 7-22 overall record and went 6-10 in Northeast Conference (NEC) in 2023-24 season.
