Class of 2025 South Shore High School (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and NY Gauchos forward Asher Elson has received an offer from Division I Georgia Tech Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-10 center also holds offers and interest from the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, Iona, Penn State, St. John’s (offer), Fordham (offer), Syracuse (offer), Illinois (offer) and Creighton (offer), per verbalCommitts.com and other sources.
Asher averaged 15.30 points, 5.35 rebounds and 1.21 assists per game in 14 regular PSAL season contests this past season.
The Yellow Jacks posted 14-18 overall record and went 7-13 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play in the 2023-24 campaign.
