Class of 2026 Blair Academy (N.J.) guard Deron Rippey, Jr. has received an offer from Division I Wake Forest University Men’s basketball program, his dad recently wrote on X.
Additionally, Rippey holds offers from Syracuse, Binghamton, LIU, Fordham, Hofstra, St. John’s, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Villanova, George Washington and Illinois, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Rippey, a the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Brooklyn native, scored 103 points, grabbed 31 rebounds, dished out 33 assists and made 18 steals in nine games played this past season.
The Demon Deacons posted 21-14 overall record and went 11-9 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action in the 2023-24 campaign.
