Spencerport High School (Spencerport, N.Y.) tight end/defensive end Miron Gurman has verbally committed to Rutgers University Scarlet Knights football program, yesterday he announced via X.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Gurman, a rising senior, is an exceptional athlete, as he also mans the forward position for the Rangers varsity basketball team. German is a strong athlete, seen below benching 320 pounds for a rep.
Gurman also held offers from Buffalo, UConn (official visit) and Toledo (official visit), according to a source.
Rutgers posted a 7-6 overall record and went 3-6 in Big 10 Conference action this past season.
