Class of 2025 The Governor’s Academy (Mass.) shooting guard Momo Nkugwa has received an offer from the Division I University of Albany Great Danes Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-3 Nkugwa also holds offers from St. Michael’s, Fairfield and Ivy League Brown, per VerbalCommits.com.
Nkugwa can soar through the air, finishing his ducks with authority. Plus, he moves well without the ball and dribbles around defenses while getting to the hoop.
Moreover, Nkugwa, who also suits up for MassRivals 3SSB, is very difficult to defend, as if he is given a little space, he will bang home threes all day long. But, if he is face guarded, he will blow by the opposition in moment’s notice.

The Great Danes posted a 13-19 overall mark and went 5-11 in America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2023-24 campaign.
