Iona Prep High School (N.Y.) defensive end Gabriel George has committed to Division I United States Naval Academy football program, today he announced on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end held offers from Stonehill, Stony Brook, Maine, Bryant, UConn, Georgetown, Rhode Island, Minnesota and Fordham, per his X account.
Moreover, the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder also played the tight end position in high school, and is a freakishly impressive athlete, with a max bench and squat of 275 pounds and 385 pounds, respectively. George, who owns an 82-inch wingspan, also runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and can dunk a basketball with two hands, per his X feed.
Navy posted a 5-7 record and went 4-4 in Patriot League Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
