Rising Archbishop Stepinac High School (N.Y.) junior guard Hassan Koureissi has picked up an offer from Division I Fordham and Old Dominion Men’s basketball programs, today he wrote on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-8 New York native, who also suits up for PSA Cardinals, holds offers from Dayton, St. John’s, Saint Louis, Iona, St. Bonaventure and Manhattan, according to VerbalCommits.com.
For starters, Koureissi is athletic and a versatile shooter who can drain buckets from anywhere on the hardwood, especially from beyond the arc. Next, he is an excellent defender whose active, busy hands causes turnovers. From there, Koureissi can turn those miscues into points for his teams.
The Rams posted a 13-20 overall record and went 6-12 in Atlantic-10 Conference action in the 2023-24 season.
