June has been a good recruiting month for rising junior guard Jalen Grant of Roselle Catholic High School Boy’s basketball in New Jersey.
The 6-footer has picked up three Division I offers, including the Hampton Pirates today, to go along with Quinnipiac and Moorehead State this month.
Additionally, Grant holds offers from Manhattan, Albany, Bryant, Providence, Seton Hall, Kansas State and Auburn, per VerbalCommits.com.
Grant, who also plays for the PSA Cardinals AAU program, drained 322 points (2nd on the Lions), dished out 86 assists and made 51 steals in 25 contests this past season for Roselle Catholic.
The list of basketball attributes goes on for Grant, who has been described as a crafty, high hoops acumen point guard with wonderful court instincts. And he can score, evident by high school numbers this past year.
The July live period should, no doubt, garner more D-1 offers for Grant.
Hampton posted a 9-24 overall mark and went 3-15 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) conference play in the 2023-24 campaign.
