After a slew of quality signings over the past few days, New Jersey’s Mercer County Community College (MCCC) Women’s basketball program has added a bit of royalty in the form of Jada Queen, today head coach Bob Fusik announced on X.
Queen, who brings size and a tenacious defensive style, previously played with Division II Lincoln University as a freshman during the 2018-19 season, averaging 7.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. The 6-foot forward/center starred at Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy, draining 341 points, grabbing 228 boards and making 154 steals.
The Queen signing bring the Vikings’ roster to five players.
The MCCC program has been on hiatus for two years but will be back in action for the 2024-2025 campaign. The Vikings are part of the NJCAA’s Region XIX conference.
