Emma Sollenne Earns NAIA University of Tennessee Southern Hoops Offer

Rising senior Emma Sollene of St. Luke’s High School (N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious 17U squad has picked an offer from National Assocation Intercollegiate Assocation (NAIA) University Tennessee Southern, tonight Lighting head coach Dan Melious wrote on X.

Sollene also holds offers from Division II Belmont Abbey College. Mercy College and Barton, as well as D-1 Chicago State, per her X account.

The 5-foot-7 athletic two-way player is a quality outside shooter who can get to the basket and finish in traffic, according to Melious. Plus, she is smart, coachable, talented and a great teammate, he added.

The Firehawks 7-19 overall mark and went Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) in the 2023-24 campaign.
