Giuliana Dito of Notre Dame Academy High School (Staten Island) has received an offer from Division III St. Joseph’s University (N.Y.) Women’s basketball program, today Bears head coach Joe Giacchi told me.
The 5-foot-9 point guard/shooting guard is a smart player with the ability lead the offense on the hardwood. The SI Diamonds player is also a very good three-point shooter, utilizing her quick release to not allow defense to close in on her fast enough. Plus, she victimizes defense with her keen, fast slicing and dicing ability en route to the hoop for the bucket.
The Bears posted a 5-20 overall mark and went 4-15 in Skyline Conference action last season.
