Gianna Chuffo of St. Thomas Aquinas (N.J.) and United 17U National AAU squad has verbally committed to Division II Adelphi University Panthers Women’s basketball program, today she announced on X.
The 5-foot-6 Chuffo, a rising senior combo guard, drained a team-leading 488 points, dished out 110 assists, grabbed 91 rebounds and made 62 steals in 30 games during the 2023-24 New Jersey girl’s high school season.
Chuffo is the type of player a coach loves to have at his or her disposal. She bangs home jumpers, especially deep threes, drives to the hoops like her hair is on fire, and consistently finishes, makes wise decisions with and without the ball, and plays a solid defense.
Additionally, Chuffo shines in the classroom with a stellar 4.1 GPA. per her X account.
Adelphi posted a 7-22 overall mark and went 5-17 in Northeast 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
