Class of 2025 Jackson-Reed High School (D.C.) forward J.J. Massaquoi has received an offer from Division I Manhattan College Jaspers basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
In addition to the Jaspers’ offer, the 6-foot-5 rising senior, who also plays in the Hoop Group Showcase League (HGSL), holds offers from Howard, American, Mount St. Mary’s and Bowie State, according to VerbalCommitts.com.
Massaquoi, who made the 2023-24 DCIAA All-League First Team, sports a potent inside-outside game, with a long-range sweet stroke. Plus, he is a versatile athlete, high level finisher and rebounder, and can guard all positions, per his high school’s basketball team.
Manhattan posted a 7-22 overall record and went 4-16 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2023-24 season.
