Here is your chance to meet one of the greatest New York Mets to ever don the blue and orange.
On Saturday, October 12th, legendary Mets first baseman and SNY announcer Keith Hernandez will be at Woodbridge Brewing Co. (33 Main Street, Woodbridge N.J.) to meet fans and sign autographs (a time has not been announced as of yet).
A ticket for the event will cost you $99.00 and includes an autograph and photo opportunity with the Mets mustache legend.
Furthermore, you can bring your item for Hernandez to sign, but there will items for you to purchase if you like. Note: All tickets are non-refundable.
Hernandez had enjoyed a standout career, as he earned co-National League MVP honors, along with Willie Stargell, in 1979.
Additionally, he was a five-time All-Star, and captured 11 consecutive Golden Glove awards in the National League from 1978 to 1988. He also secured two Silver Slugger awards, given to the best hitter at his position, and a National League batting title in 1979
Hernandez, who has been a Mets color commentator since 1998, won two World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982 and the Mets in 1986. He played ten seasons with Cardinals.
Hernandez launched 162 home runs and drove in 1071 runs with .296 batting average in a 17-year MLB career. He also played a stellar first base, making him, in my opinion, a candidate for the Hall of Fame.
