Aidan Able Receives Division I Offer from University of Albany Great Danes

Class of 2026 John Carroll High School (Md.) guard Aidan Able has received an offer from Division I University of Albany Great Danes Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote via X.

Adian Able picks up fourth D-1 college basketball offer.

In addition to the Albany offer, the 6-foot-3 Essex, Maryland, native, who also suits up for Team Thrill, holds ones from Nicholls State, UMBC and American, per VerbalCommits.com and his X feed. Plus, he has interest from Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Towson, Brown, Rice Navy, Princeton, among other programs, according to his X account.

Able enjoyed a fantastic June on the AAU hoops circuit, averaging 23 points per game, shooting 37 percent from the hardwood, hitting 82.5 percent from the charity stripe, grabbing 5.1 rebounds and dishing out 2.8 assists, per report.

Able owns a sweet stroke from the outside, especially from three-point land, and has no problem finding his way inside the paint and finishing for the bucket on a consistent basis.

The Great Danes posted a 13-19 overall mark and went 5-11 in America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2023-24 campaign.
