Ranney School (N.J.) and Philly Rise Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL 16U) rising sophomore Ashley Kreiger has earned a Division I offer from Penn State University Nittany Lions Women’s basketball program, yesterday she announced via X.
The 6-foot-3 2023-24 Hoop Group Freshman of the Year also holds an offer from Fairfield, according to her X account.
Kreiger dropped in 306 points (11.77 p.p.g.) and 159 rebounds (6.12 r.p.g.) in 26 games played in the 2023-24 New Jersey Girl’s high school season.
Kreiger is a special player beyond her youth. Long arms, strong hands, talent-loaded and great length, she is drawing the eyes of several D-1 college hoop programs during the Live July AAU period, per reports.
Be rest assured that she will pick up more D-1 basketball offers in due course.
Penn State posted a 22-13 overall mark and went 9-9 in Big 10 Conference action during the 2023-24 campaign.
