Class of 2026 Deptford Township High School (N.J.) High School guard Jordan Williams has received interest from Division I University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks (UMES) Men’s basketball program, he has told me.
At first, media outlets reported that he did have an offer from the school, but he told me that was not the case. However, the Hawks have shown interest, he said.
Williams, who also suits up for Philly Pride 16U AAU squad, currently holds an offer from Chestnut Hill, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Additionally, he said he holds interest from Princeton, Columbia, Penn State, Seton Hall, D Ii East Stroudsburg, Le Moyne, NJIT and Iona.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard drained 135 points and grabbed 87 rebounds in 26 games played for the Spartans this past season.
Maryland Eastern Shore put up a 9-20 overall record and went 4-10 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) action in the 2023-24 campaign.
