Class of 2026 Putnam Science (Ct.) guard Imahri Wooten has received an offer from Division I Rutgers Scarlet Knights Men’s basketball program, he recently wrote on X.
Wooten, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound Putnam Science Academy (Ct.) standout, also holds offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, St, John’s, Old Dominion, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Auburn, Missouri, Mississippi State, Wichita State, St. Bonaventure, NJIT, Albany, Bryant, IUPUI, among other schools, per VerbalCommitts.com.
Wooten attended Redemption Christian Academy in Troy N.Y., before transferring to Connecticut’s Putnam Science.
Rutgers posted a 15-17 overall record and went 7-13 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 season.
