Kaila Richards Commits to Bucknell University Bisons Women’s Basketball

Kaila Richards of Hotchkiss School and Team Northeast has verbally committed to Division I Bucknell University Bisons Women’s basketball program, today she announced on X.

Kaila Richards chooses Bucknell Women’s basketball program as her new home after graduation.

Additionally, the rising senior held offers from NJIT, Sacred Heart, Bellarmine, William & Mary, New Hampshire, Drexel, Albany, UMBC, among other college basketball programs, per her X feed.

The 5-foot-7 point guard out of Far Rockaway, Queens, sports a multifaceted game. She gets to hoop on the regular with her athleticism and slick ball-handling abilities and will stop and pop on a dime at a given moment.

Plus, Richards owns a sweet mid-range jumper, and can nail the three-pointer as well, to go along with her fine court leadership skills. More importantly, she holds a 3.9 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.

The Bisons posted a 13-18 overall mark and went 9-9 in Patriot League Conference play in the 2023-24 campaign.
