Class of 2027 Rutgers Prep (N.J.) and NY Rennaissance guard Jacob Canton has received an offer from Division I Seton Hall University Pirates Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-3 New Jersey Athletics Freshman of the Year also holds offers from Radford and West Virginia, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Canton enjoyed an impressive freshman year with the Argonauts, leading the team in points with 435 and assists with 125, and finished second on the squad in rebounds with 144 in 27 games played.
The Pirates put up a 25-12 overall record and went 13-7 in Big East Conference action in the 2023-24 season. Moreover, Seton Hall captured the NIT championship with a 79-77 win over Indianna State.
