St. Joseph’s University Women’s Basketball Extends Offer to Texas Guard/Forward Isabella Rosa

Division III St. Joseph’s University (Brooklyn) Women’s basketball program has bestowed an offer to Isabella Rosa, a 5-foot-10 class of 2025 guard/forward from Round Rock High School in Frisco, Texas, today Bears head coach Joe Giacchi told NYNJSportsWorld.com.

Rose, who also suits up for YB33 17U Reign AAU squad, is a three-level scorer who brings nice size, athleticism, leadership and coachability to the hardwood.

Giacchi is excited with the probability of added a player the caliber of Rosa, an athlete who would come right in and make a difference, he noted.

“Bella is a great player that brings a ton of versatility to the game,” Giacchi said with no doubt. “She would be an instant impact for our squad.”

St. Joseph’s also sports Texas native Mercedes Perez, guard out of William Howard Taft High School in San Antonio.

The Bears posted a 5-20 overall record and went 4-15 in Skyline Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
