Mets Minor League Pitcher Ethan Lanthier, from Kansas University, Whiffs the Side in Bridge League Debut


Right-handed pitcher Ethan Lanthier, whom the New York Mets selected in the 12th round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of Kansas University, struck out the side in his Bridge League debut against the Cardinals on Tuesday. He reached as high as 97 mph, according to X.

Righty Ethan Lanthier displays solid stuff in debut.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Lanthier, a Northfield, Minn., native, put up a 4-0 mark with a 4.54 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 37.2 innings of work with the Jayhawks baseball team in the 2024 campaign.

Lanthier also pitched for St. Cloud State’s baseball program.
