Class of 2026 Faith Family Academy Charter High School (Texas) forward Davion Adkins has received an offer from Division I Rutgers Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-8 Dallas, Texas, native also holds offers from D-1 Oklahoma State, LSU, SMU, South Carolina State, TCU and California, per VebalCommits.com.
Adkins owns a high celling due to his elite level athleticism. He plays above the rim with the ability deliver authoritative ducks and has a nice, developing outside game. Plus, he is excellent around the rim, according to high school hoops insiders.
Rutgers posted a 15-17 overall record and went 7-13 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 season.
