Julius Avent Receives D1 Offer from Hampton University Men’s Basketball Program

Class of 2026 Bergen Catholic (N.J.) and PSA Cardinal wing Julius Avent has received an offer from Division I Hampton University Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Also, Advent, a 6-foot-7 wing, holds offers from Seton Hall, Villanova, George Washington, Quinnipiac, NJIT, Virginia Tech, and Washington, according VerbalCommits.com.

Avent put up fantastic numbers during his sophomore season at Bergen Catholic, draining 324 points and grabbing 121 rebounds in 28 games played in the 2023-24 campaign.

Hampton posted a 9-24 overall mark and went 3-15 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) conference play in the 2023-24 campaign.
