New School’s Quinn Costello Receives Division I Offer from Columbia Men’s Hoops

Class of 2026 The Newman School (Mass.) and Middlesex Magic forward Quinn Costello has received an offer from Division I Columbia University Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The 6-foot-9 Costello also holds offers from Canisius, Fairfield, George Washington, Brown, Harvard, Bryant, Albany, Stonehill and Holy Cross, according to VerbalCommits.com.

For someone his size, Costello is a wonderful three-point shooter with a soft touch, something you do not see often.

Additionally, he can score with either hand, and uses his body well to shield himself from defenders as he ventures to the hoop and finishes.

The Lions posted a 13-14 overall record and went 4-10 in Ivy League conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
