Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Men’s basketball program landed a commitment from Holly Springs High School (N.C.) senior guard Kody Frey, yesterday he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
The 6-foot-6 Frey received the Knights’ offer in the middle of August, and did not wait long to commit to the New Jersey university.
A sniper, Frey spent the past AAU seasons playing for 1 of 1 Elite basketball squad. Also, he can slice and dice his way to the basket and finish. Plus, the Raleigh, N.C. native moves very fluidly without the ball and owns exceptional ball-handling skills that allow him to get free and fire open shots.
FDU posted a 15-17 overall record and went 9-7 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action in the 2023-24 campaign.
