Class of 2025 Nicolet High School (Wis.) guard David Bolden has verbally committed to Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Men’s basketball program, he recently announced on X.
In addition to the NJIT offer, the 6-footer held offers from Milwaukee and Wright State, according to VerbalCommits.com.
So, why did Bolden choose the Highlanders in the end? “They have a great coaching staff who recruited me hard,” Bolden wrote on X.
There are reasons why NJIT went after Bolden. He is fluid in his movements, owns a high basketball acumen, and can shoot the rock from deep with success. Plus, he distributes the ball very well, as he leads an offense like a true floor general.
Bolden also suited up for Kevon Looney Power 5 AAU Basketball.
The Highlanders put up a 7-21 overall record and went 3-13 in America East Conference (AEC) action in the 2023-24 campaign.
