As a freshman at Manasquan, Adams, who also played AAU hoops for the PSA Cardinals, led the Warrior offense with 444 points. He added 134 rebounds, 65 assists and 32 steals to his 2021-22 season.

UConn posted a 37-3 overall record and went 18-2 in Big East Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign. The Huskies wound up capturing the NCAA D-1 championship with 75-60 victory over Purdue.
