Worcester Academy’s Amir Jenkins Receives D1 Offer from St. Bonaventure Hoops


Class of 2026 Worcester Academy (Mass.) guard Amir Jenkins has received an offer from Division I St. Bonaventure Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

In addition to the Bonnies’ offer, the 6-foot-2 Team New England Basketball Club AAU player holds offers from Albany, Providence, Bryant and George Washington, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Jenkins captured a gold medal with the USA Men’s 18U three on three Federation Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) World Cup Tournament squad in Hungary in late August.

He also played for Worcester North High School, helping it claim two consecutive Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) state championships, including an incredible 45-game win streak during that time span.  

St. Bonaventure posted a 20-13 overall record and went 9-9 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
