Class of 2025 Calloway County High School (Ky.) guard Jonah Butler has verbally committed to Division I Stony Brook University Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced via X, once known as Twitter.
Additionally, the 6-foot-5 Butler held offers from Lipscomb and D-2 Rollins College, per his X account.
Bulter is a gifted player who score in several different ways, including owning a solid shooting range from the perimeter.
Butler, who also suited up for Griffin Elite 17U AAU basketball squad, averaged 17.5 p.p.g., 10.1 r.p.g, and shot 47.9 percent from the floor and 37 percent from three-point range as a high school junior.
The Seawolves posted a 20-15 record and went 10-8 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) action during the 2023-24 season.
