Class of 2025 Hudson Catholic High School (N.J.) guard Omari Moore has verbally committed to Division I Manhattan Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Additionally, the 6-foot-3 Moore held offers from colleges the likes of Fordham, St. John’s, Albany, Bucknell, Loyola Maryland, La Salle, Drake and Old Dominion, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Moore, who also suited up for the Epic Elite AAU hoops squad, drained 251 points, grabbed 41 boards and made 25 steals in 28 contests during the 2023-24 campaign.
As far as his hardwood abilities go, Moore owns a lethal outside shot, dropping buckets from multiple spots on the hardwood, especially from three-point land. Plus, he displays the impresses skill of evading defenders and finishing around the hoop in traffic.
The Jaspers put up a 7-22 overall mark and went 4-16 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2023-24 season.
