Senior Maya Abramson of Gill St. Bernard (N.J.) and New Heights NYC girl’s basketball teams is staying put in the Garden State, as she has verbally committed to Division III Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) Women’s basketball program today, she announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Abramson, a forward, dropped in 267 points, grabbed 165 rebounds, and dished out 80 assists in 29 games played in the 2023-24 New Jersey girl’s high school campaign.
Abramson is a strong inside presence player, scoring several points in the paint. She also owns a high hoops acumen and nice outside shot. On top of that, she moves well without the ball, often trailing plays, which helps her get loose for open buckets in and out of transition.
The Ducks posted a 14-12 overall record and went 9-5 in Middle Athletic Conference (MAC) last season.
