Class of 2025 Our Saviour Lutheran School (Bronx, N.Y.) center Ayomi Odetoyinbo has committed to Division I Colgate University Men’s basketball, yesterday he announced via X. formerly known as Twitter.
Additionally, the seven-footer held offers from Hofstra, LIU and Manhattan, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Given his size, it is no surprise that Odetoyinbo’s above-the-rim game is insane, often putting on a dunk display for the ages. Plus, Odetoyinbo, who hails from Canton, N.Y., rebounds and defends the basket with a fierce vengeance.
Odetoyinbo also suited up for New Heights Lightning 17U EYBL.
Colgate posted a 25-10 overall record and went 16-2 in Patriot League Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
