LuHi’s Kayden Mingo Commits to Penn State Basketball

Class of 2025 Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) guard Kayden Mingo has committed to Division I Penn State Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Additionally, the 6-foot-2, 160-pound New Yorker, who is the No. 43 overall prospect in the class of 2025, held several D-I offers, including St. Louis, St. John’s, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Xavier, SMU, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, among other top programs, according to VerbalCommits.com.

But he chose Penn State over Georgia, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, per source.

The Nittany Lions posted a 16-17 overall record and went 9-11 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
