Class of 2026 Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (N.J.) and NJ Shoreshots Rio UAA forward Luke Cruz has committed to the Division I University of Pennsylvania Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 6-foot-9, 210-pound Cruz drained 273 points, grabbed 145 rebounds and blocked 32 shots in 24 games played in the 2023-24 campaign.
A high academic student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA, several top college programs came out to RFHS’ open gyms to watch Cruz and his teammates play, including Princeton, Tufts, Scranton, Amherst, Yale, NJIT, Cornell and Boston University, per Cruz’s X account.
UPenn is off to a 2-3 start, and will host Navy Friday at 4:30 p.m.
