Morgan Kottka Commits to Bard College Women’s Basketball

St. Thomas Aquinas High School (N.J.) 2025 forward Morgan Kottka has committed to Division III Bard College Women’s basketball team, yesterday her former high school girl’s basketball coach, Tom Sclafani, announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Kotta, who also suited up for United 17U Select, originally committed to Swarthmore College over the summer before de-committing and pledging to join Bard.

The 5-foot-11 senior dropped in 36 points and grabbed 24 rebounds in 15 games played in the 2023-24 New Jersey High School Girl’s hoops campaign.

Due to her length and athletic ability, Kottka is highly active around the basket, keeping offensive players honest while rebounding well on both ends of the floor.

Offensively, she sports a solid short- to mid-range jumper and is pretty much a sure thing around the hoop on lay-ups and put-backs. Additionally, her three-point shot has developed over the years, and now she can nail her fair share of attempts from beyond the arc.

The Raptors are off to a 2-2 start and will travel to Lesley today for a 3:00 p.m. game.
