Sophomore guard Maria Ribeiro of Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, New York, enjoyed a fantastic game, as she drained 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and made two steals in a win against Pelham Monday at home, basketball insider Jeremy Basham wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 5-foot-10 Ribeiro also suits up for Team Lightning Melious AAU basketball squad.
After watching Ribeiro early on this year, it seems she is primed for a big high school hoops season in the 2024-25 campaign, Basham noted.
Additionally, Ribeiro is a three-sport athlete who also sports an impressive 4.0 GPA.
