After a football season at Myrtle Beach Collegiate Post-Grad Academy, dual-threat quarterback Jaden Haly has verbally committed to Division I Sacred Heart University football program, today he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Haly, who graduated from A. Philip Randolph High School in Manhattan, went on game visits with D-2 Winston Salem State and Allen University, according to his X account, before deciding on SHU.
Before committing to Myrtle Beach Collegiate, Haly had offers from D-3 North Park University and Alfred State.
Previous to joining the South Carolina prep school, Haly excelled at A. P. Randolph, passing for 2,009 yards, racking up 648 yards on the ground, combining for 37 touchdowns and leading the Cougars to a PSAL 2A final game, in which they suffered a 42-28 defeat to South Shore in the 2023-24 campaign.
The Pioneers posted a 5-6 record and captured the Yankee Conference Championship with a 31-20 victory over Merrimack in 2024.
