The duo of Skye Cameron-Pressley and Stella Ziogas both recorded double-doubles in New Rochelle High School’s girl’s basketball (N.Y.) 48-44 non-conference victory over Newburgh Free Academy (2-4) Saturday at home.
Senior Cameron-Pressley and junior Ziogas, both of whom also suit up for Team Lightning Melious AAU, scored 21 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, made three blocks and dished out two assists, and the latter drained 14 points, handed out 10 assists, pulled down five boards and made two steals, respectively in the Huguenots’ (2-0) win.
Ziogas, a 5-foot-6 point guard, holds several Division I offers from the likes of Rider, McNeese State, Sacred Heart, FDU, Weber State, Nichols State, Chicago State, among interest from other schools, according to her AAU coach, Dam Melious.
