LuHi’s Dylan Mingo Receives D1 Offer from Illinois Basketball

Class of 2026 Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) guard Dylan Mingo has received an offer from Division I Illinois Men’s basketball program, yesterday sports media outlets wrote on X.

The 6-foot-5 junior also holds offers from Virginia Tech, Washington, St. John’s, Providence, Oklahoma State, Dayton, Bryant, Ole Miss, Old Dominion, Florida State, among other programs, according to VerbalCommitts.com

Mingo–the brother of Kayden Mingo–who suits for LuHi as well and is committed to Penn State–plays for the Pro Scholars Athletics (PSA) Cardinals.

The Fighting Illini are 8-3 overall and 1-1 in Big 10 Conference play so far this season, and will host Chicago State Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
