Fontbonne Hall’s Noelle Polanco’s Reaches Historic 1,500 Points in High School Girl’s Basketball


Noelle Polanco of Fontbonne Hall Academy (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has accomplished something special, as she recorded her 1,500-career high school point in a 58-39 loss to Kennedy Catholic (5-2) Thursday at home in a Tier 2 varsity New York City Catholic High School game.

Polanco is committed to Division II University of Charleston (West Virginia) Women’s basketball program.

Polanco averaged an impressive 22.8 points per game as a junior, becoming the youngest player to reach the 1,000-point mark in the school’s hoops history.

Additionally, the Bonnies (1-5) 5-foot-11 senior played AAU hoops for the NJ Raptors last year and is an alum of St. Francis de Sales Academy in Bell Harbor, Queens.
